It's been 5 days since my Mom and Dad went back to San Diego. The first few days have been really emotional for all of us here at home. We all got used to all the noises and the simple pleasures that we had as a family. Now, without them, we're all quiet and would rather spend the time on our own rooms. It's just hard to move on... but we had no choice but to do so.
I spent the past weekend in bed with this awful fever and flu. I actually missed going to field service, dinner party with the Circuit Overseer and some friends from the cong. , and our meeting last Sunday morning.
Thank goodness I was feeling a whole lot better today. In fact, I went out to SM Bacoor with my younger sister. We watched a movie and did a little shopping.
We came across ELF's booth and decided to try their products. Here's our haul:
We got the
- e.l.f. Beauty School 100 pc. Eye Shadow Palette
- e.l.f. Eyelid Primer Collection (in Nude, Pearl and Champagne)
- e.l.f. Studio Lip Stain w/Gloss (in Red Carpet)
It's an interesting palette, if you look at the colors, they're not all in one finish. There's Matte, Satin, Metallic & Pearly Shimmer. I also loved that it had different shades... from earth/neutral / smokey tones to bright and eccentric colors. So there's a nice big variety for one palette.
I might try to swatch them tomorrow (since it's already 2:14am O_O)
Now the Lip Stain, I love! It has a silky matte finish and doesn't wear off that fast! It's one of those long-wear formulas that you had to let dry and top with gloss. The color is just so rich and it's doesn't give you that icky feel.
Now for the price, it's really affordable! We only got the palette for Php 899.75, the 3-pc eye primer for PhP 249.75 and the lip stain for PhP 249.75! it's a good buy for those on a budget who still wants to look fab ;)
You can get them at http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ or at any Watson's or SM branches
